October Employee Spotlight: Sarah Williams

October Employee Spotlight: Sarah WilliamsThis month we’re thrilled to introduce you to another outstanding team member in the third installment of our Employee Spotlight series. Sarah Williams started at Jackson over six years ago as a Credentialing Coordinator where she completed background checks and licensure verification on new therapists, eventually transitioning into her current role as one of our National Recruiters. Sarah’s positive, go get ’em attitude permeates everything she does, whether she’s boxing alongside her peers at UFC Gym or running alongside her co-workers in our annual 5k. So, grab your energy bar (if you hope to stay-up with Sarah) and read on to learn more about our dynamic team member and her Zombie fighting skills.

What drives you every day?

My family drives me – I stay motivated to be a good example for my nieces.  Although, they may be teaching me way more than I’ve been teaching them in recent years.

Describe a passion you have for the type of work that you do:

I think it’s really important to focus on the good that’s being done by our therapists and the treatment their patients are receiving.I love the idea of helping people help people!  I always ask my travelers about “the wins” on their assignments. It’s extremely rewarding to know that I play a part in connecting our gifted therapists with patients that really need them.

Where in the U.S. have you sent a Traveling Therapist that you wished you could go, too?

Chicago! Definitely a place that I’m looking forward to visiting since it’s the setting for one of my favorite TV shows: Shameless.

What is your proudest accomplishment at Jackson or in your career?

I really love being able to place traveling teams or groups together. It’s like completing a really difficult puzzle.  Plus, I feel like some of our therapists enjoy their contract assignments even more when they’re able to travel with someone they’re close to.
