How to Edit or Delete a Time Entry

Sometimes you need to correct a shift, whether your hours changed, you mistyped a time, or your timecard was returned.

The ProVenture app makes editing easy and ensures payroll and approval details remain accurate. This section guides updating your time safely and correctly.

How to Edit an Existing Entry

1. Find the Entry to Edit

  • Go to the specific week and day where the time entry is shown.
  • Each entry shows summary details (facility, category, times, lunch/break).

2. Tap the Edit Icon

  • Select the pencil or “Edit” icon next to the entry you want to change. This opens the entry details screen.

3. Update the Entry Fields

  • Adjust any necessary details such as start/end times, time category, facility, or lunch minutes.
  • Ensure all required fields are completed, as the system performs real-time checks during editing.

4. Save Changes

  • Tap "Save" to confirm your changes. The updates will appear instantly in your weekly timecard view.
